After removing the background from the image of myself facing the camera, I scaled the image down to an appropriate size and blurred over the image using the blur tool as shown to the right. As well as this I added a dark glow around the figure and a drop shadow to make it look more real.
I then took the original image and pasted the layer into the other document and put it underneath the layer of the lone figure to make it look like they are staring at eachother.
